The afternoon went by pretty fast as well. I napped for a bit and played cards before eating the biggest lunch yet. It was pasta with cream and pistachio sauce and DELICIOUS.
After this we walked around for a bit outside to get out of the house and into the nice weather. A dog began following us and as we walked around in a group I felt like I was in a gang in the movies.
When we got back I skyped Zaneta again and then we had nutella and banana crepes for a snack. Mattia pushed and prodded until I ate two and felt ready to burst.
The boys (excluding Mattia) then decided to steal my phone and message random people that I have never talked to. That war is still going on.
Church was at 7 and we played soccer outside until the adults were finished. The little kids that were also outside deemed it appropriate to teach me vulgar Italian words and asked the same in English. Despite everything, they seemed fascinated with my language and kept asking me to repeat words in Italian.
When we got home we ate a dinner of leftover pasta and hotdogs and just laughed and laughed and laughed. Dinner is always an interesting event because everyone seems to be at their most hyper. I remember Federico at one point in time putting a citronella plant up to my nose and the rest of the night from there on out smelled bitter.
I ate a coconut ice cream bar for dessert and then everyone just chilled up in the boy's room texting and playing on their phones until midnight.
Kira, I can't imagine you teaching little kids vulgar words! So, how did you get out of it? Did you just substitute random innocent words like "chicken" or "tablecloth" or "tailpipe"? I'm waiting to see pictures of your bedroom and the boys bedroom. Bathrooms, too. Bathrooms always look different in other countries. Also, I am waiting to see you type "today, I learned to cook a delicious meal. I cannot wait to cook this for my parents"!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm... pistachio sauce actually sounds really yummy... I'm suddenly not interested in this lame peanut butter toast now! Haha. And wow, real mature, dudes. At least they didn't hack your snapchat! And haha, Ms. Laura, I'm waiting for that sentence as well! The fourth will have a pretty interesting blog post, I'm sure.
