I feel incredibly guilty writing this entry because I should have written it days ago. This week has gone by so fast that before I knew it it was Friday and I had five entries to catch up on. This entry is going to be short and sweet because frankly I don't remember a lot that happened.
I woke up at normal time and had breakfast with the boys as per usual. It was a hot morning and when the others got ready to go to the beach I opted to stay home. It was miserable both inside and outside and I fell back asleep to avoid doing anything. When I woke up again it was noon and I felt like I was going to die if I didn't do something about the sweltering heat. I took a nice cool shower and when I got out everyone was home and it was time for lunch.
After lunch, I wanted to get out of the house so I decided to go for a walk to the beach. Federico and Sofia accompanied me. It was peaceful being the only ones there and nothing is more relaxing than sitting in the shade doing nothing but listening to the sound of the waves.
Eventually another girl wandered down to where we were and naturally Sofia ran up to her and started a conversation. I learned that her name was Simona and that she wanted to study languages, particularly English, in university. She was very kind and when we came back a little bit later with the family, we all went for a swim with her and her boyfriend. After getting out, we met another of Federico's friends by the name of Fabrizio (sounds like a cleaning product, I know). He (as well as Luca and Giulia) joined in a game of basketball down at our place. They played until it was time for dinner and then everyone dispersed to their own homes to eat. I believe we played cards until bed time.
